Getting Involved in Open Source
It is often suggested that developers work on open source projects to gain experience with a given technology. However, developers who are new to open source may not know the best ways to find opportunities that are ideal for newcomers. It would be nice to see someone give a presentation that shows how to get started in open source by finding an opportunity, getting their system configured to work in that capacity, and actually apply some coding changes and submit them.

Lightning Talks or Twitning Talks
LIghtning Talks are short (1-10 minute talks).. everyone can tackle the same subject or people can choose subjects. The slides are gathered on one machine so setup time between talks is reduced.
Twitning Talks: Each talk should consist of 10 slides with 10 seconds per slide. It'll be like a twitter version of a normal presentation!5 votes -
